Dr. A.T.M. Kamrul Hasan, MBBS, MD (Medical Oncology), is a dedicated cancer researcher and medical oncologist, currently serving as a Research Assistant at the Department of Medical Oncology, National Institute of Cancer Research & Hospital (NICRH), Dhaka. He was working as Chief Medical Officer of NICRH for several years. A graduate of Rangpur Medical College, he completed his MD in Medical Oncology from NICRH under Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University in 2018. Dr. Hasan is also the International Affairs Secretary of the Medical Oncology Society in Bangladesh (MOSB). With over 9 years of experience treating cancer patients at NICRH, Dr. Hasan has led and contributed to several high-impact research studies on stomach, lung, breast cancers, and EGFR mutations in NSCLC. His work has been featured in regional and international conferences, including ESMO and JSMO. He has participated as a faculty in different national & International conference like SFO, MOSB Congress, BOCSCON, ESMO, OncoCone, BICS etc. As an ESMO member and active faculty in oncology congresses, he is deeply committed to advancing cancer care and research, with a special focus on improving treatment access and outcomes in Bangladesh. He is an active member of Bangladesh Society for Breast Cancer Study (BSBCS) , European Society of Medical Oncology (ESMO) , American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) , American College of Physicians (ACP), International Association for Hospice & Palliative Care (IAHPC) , International Association for The Study of Lung Cancer (IASLC)
