Dr. Mohammed Jahangir Alam, MBBS, MD (Medical Oncology), is a dedicated Bangladeshi medical oncologist currently serving as a Medical Officer at the National Institute of Cancer Research and Hospital (NICRH), Dhaka, and Consultant at Khidma Hospital Private Ltd., Dhaka. He earned his MD in Medical Oncology from NICRH, University of Dhaka, in 2017 and his MBBS from Mymensingh Medical College in 2001.

Dr. Alam’s clinical and academic interests center on colorectal, lung, and breast cancers, and he actively contributes to advancing chemotherapy practices and cancer care facilities in Bangladesh. His research work spans over ten peer-reviewed publications, including clinical studies and case reports published in Annals of Oncology and Beacon Medical Journal. He was also a co-investigator in Bangladesh's first study comparing chemotherapeutic regimens in metastatic colorectal cancer. A life member of several oncology societies, Dr. Alam is committed to combining evidence-based care with academic mentorship and cancer research.
