Dr. Md. Rafiqul Islam is a seasoned medical oncologist with over three decades of experience in cancer care and internal medicine. He earned his MD in Medical Oncology from the National Institute of Cancer Research & Hospital (NICRH) under Dhaka University in 2011, following an MBBS from Sher-E-Bangla Medical College in 1989. He has also completed rigorous post-graduate training in pediatrics, internal medicine, and oncology at leading institutions, including BSMMU and Dhaka Medical College Hospital. Dr. Islam recently retired as Associate Professor of the Department of Medical Oncology at NICRH, where he led advancements in cancer treatment and research. His work has significantly contributed to the evolving field of medical oncology in Bangladesh.
