Prof. Dr. Yeakub Ali

Professor Dr. Md. Yeaqub Ali is a distinguished oncologist, currently serving as the Professor and Head of the Department of Oncology at Enam Medical College Hospital, Dhaka. He completed his MBBS from Sher-E-Bangla Medical College under the University of Dhaka in 1987, and earned his FCPS in Radiotherapy in 1996. A recipient of the prestigious IAEA Fellowship in Radiotherapy from Hiroshima University, Japan, Dr. Ali has undergone extensive international training in advanced radiotherapy, palliative care, and cancer management.

With over three decades of academic and clinical experience, he has held key positions at major institutions including Dhaka Medical College, NICRH, and Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College. Dr. Ali has authored or co-authored 24 research publications and has served as an examiner and convener for postgraduate medical education in oncology. His work reflects a deep commitment to evidence-based cancer care, clinical excellence, and oncology education both nationally and internationally.
